Andrew McKinlay has ended his two-year term as director of Scottish Golf
. Andrew McKinlay, director of Scottish Golf, has resigned, announcing the governing body of the amateur game. decisions "to remain sustainable amid the coronavirus pandemic," said chairman Eleanor Cannon.
McKinlay succeeded Blane Dodds in the role two years ago after leaving the Scottish Football Association.
"He has helped move the organization forward and has now made a very difficult decision," Cannon said.
"He is leaving work with the team on a revised structure that will be fit for purpose when we exit the national lock. On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Andrew for his contribution to Scottish Golf."
McKinlay described it as a "privilege" to lead the organization and says that the changes he has made can lead to his "prosperity" rous future.
