06:40 hours: The weekend has arrived at the 2019 ISPS Handa Vic Open and some wild weather is threatening.
Eight men and 76 women qualified for the third round, which resulted in a bumper action day on 13th Beach.
Those who set out early this morning will undoubtedly have the best of the circumstances, a light breeze and perfect temperatures that are expected to soon be replaced by rain and strong winds.
In the men's New Green Welshman, Nick Flanagan and WA's Jason Scrivener are 14-under and are accompanied by South Australia's Wade Ormsby (-13) in the final men's group. That trio of the Beach Course is the 1st at 1.30 pm.
The American Kim Kaufman is the leading woman by two rounds, her 13-under total keep her two free from the Japanese Haru Nomura.
Leading Australian hope Su Oh around the last women's group at 13.40, the Victorian starts the day at 10.00.
