Mackenzie & Crabbe WIn Tasmanian Junior Masters

Tasmania & # 39; s own Mackenzie Wilson has completed the 2019 Tasmanian Junior Masters for girls.

The 15-year-old member of the Tasmania Golf Club won the prestigious title with scores of 76, 79, 72 and 76, an 11-over-par total of 303.

Wilson defeated her closest rival, Amelia Whinney from South Australia, with six batters and Whinney returned 79, 74, 78 and 78 for her 72-hole total of 309.

Matilda Miels of the Boardertown Golf Club in South Australia finished third at 310 and was followed by Taylah Ellems of the ACT at 312 and Shakira-Ann Kuys at 313.

Commonwealth Golf Club Mitchell Crabbe has won the Tasmanian Junior Masters for boys in 2019.

The 17-year-old Victorian rounds of 69, 66, 70 and 67 to finish this year's championship at 16-under, three strokes away from Tasmania's Ryan Thomas.

Thomas, who plays his golf at the Yarra Yarra Golf Club in Victoria, returned 68, 70, 65 and 72 for his 13-under-par total of 275.

Queensland's Jordan Hampson finished third on five-under-line, four battles for Joshuaa Robards in New South Wales and five for Victoria's Nathan Page.
