FOR: Lisa Edgar has a gap of four holes on Grace Kim

Lisa Edgar from Queensland and the Indian Kartik Sharma lead four times lead over the locals Grace Kim and Nathan Barbieri after the opening of 18 holes for the NSW Amateur Finals at Terrey Hills Golf and Country Club.

Kim has had few answers for the consistent Edgar, who took her chances and played some impressive putts on the last nine.

SPARK: Grace Kim needs a spark in the afternoon

The game was close to the 17th, when Edgar got a break and stayed on level while Kim could only make three putts.

She consolidated it on the latter with a fine approach to 6 feet that she converted, while Kim could only make par after missing the green left.

BUNKERED: Nathan Barbieri plays from the sand on the 6th

Nathan Barbieri has been fighting inconsistently all day and he undoubtedly feels the effects of 17 golf rounds in about nine days.

The Super consistent Sharma gives nothing away and benefits on every occasion by going through a number of putts to build its four ascending line.

CONSTANT: Kartik Sharma has a gap of four holes
