Minjee Lee said she went onto the golf course "to have fun".
She certainly did that.
The Australian shot 66 to start the BMW Ladies Championship in Busan in South Korea.
It was enough to lead the field while the LPGA Tour continued its Asian swing.
"Every time I had to go up and down, I could go up and down," said 23-year-old Lee. "I think I could help with that."
The weather changed quickly to Busan and Lee said she & # 39; today a bit of everything & # 39; had experienced, but the Western Australian was hot for most of the day. "I just tried to have fun today," she said. "I tried to keep it very light and that was why I had a good result."
Lee was not the only Aussie who benefited on the first day. Su Oh, the Victoria who came with Lee through the amateur ranks, shot an opening 68 to be in the top 10.
