Mount Isa event winners Kerrie Rule Pittsworth) and Conrad McElligott (Mount Isa)

Kerrie Rule and Conrad McElligott were the lucky duo who picked up the last orange blowers after placing an impressive 45 stableford points to remove their respective sections.

After missing a count-back in Winton, Rule now has matching jackets with her husband Robert who picked up his clothes in Boulia earlier this week.

"Thank you very much. I am almost speechless, almost. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. Mount Isa was just wonderful."

New to the winner's circle is local member Conrad McElligott, who juggled golf and helped the club organize the event.

"I have never won a jacket before! Thanks to everyone who has traveled to Mount Isa, you made it a very good day. All the volunteers we have at the club and the greenskeepers have done a great job so thank you again. "

McElligott today placed a best 9-hole score of the tournament with an impressive 26 points on a handicap of 31.

Mount Isa participants enjoy two nights of entertainment with dinner under the stars. Last night the attendees were welcomed by the Sundowners in the country and then laughed enormously thanks to Gold Coast comedian Steve Allison. The main act, cabaret sensation Catherine Alcorn kept guests under the spell of her razor-sharp humor and beautiful vocals.

Players will now enjoy a free afternoon to recharge before starting the highly anticipated "Million Dollar Hole-In-One" challenge on the adjusted 18th hole tomorrow afternoon.
