The 2018 Ian Baker – Finch (IBF) Junior Classic, hosted by Twin Waters Golf Club, treated players this year to perfect conditions to demonstrate the skills of Cassie Porter (Peregian Golf Club) and Tyler Duncan Redcliffe.

Cassie's fantastic performance earned her an invitation from the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) in their Canberra Schweppes Classic in February 2019 (date TBC) along with a $ 1000 scholarship to be used for travel and accommodation to a event of her choice, which was proudly sponsored by Ian Baker – Finch, along with other prizes sponsored very generously by Callaway Australia.

The Tour was also informed by Twin Waters 'management that Cassie's 68 (-4) matched the official ladies' record on the IBF Classic, which was held by Krystal Fanning, meaning that Cassie now both women's record records holds together or keeps Waters and Pelican Waters Golf Clubs!

Not to be outdone "after taking out the Zone & District Open and Closed Championship just a week earlier" Tyler continued his good form by including an outstanding two under par 70 to claim the Boys IBF Junior Championship title for 2018.

Like Cassie, Tyler received a scholarship of $ 1,000 for travel and accommodation to an event of his choice of Ian, and a paid exemption for the Queensland Open's last qualifying round in 2019, along with many other awards

Both Tyler and Cassie qualified for The Invincibles 2019 IGA Sunshine Coast Junior Masters Championship, organized by Twin Waters, Pelican Waters, Peregian Golf Course and Noosa Springs Golf Resorts during the last week of the September school holidays (Sunday, September 29th to Wednesday October 2 – TBC).
