Tyler Duncan (QLD) during his 64th at the Junior Vic Open

Tyler Duncan stepped away from the field halfway through the Junior Victorian Open and produced a beautiful 64 on the creek track at 13th Beach.

In near perfect playing conditions, players played back some excellent scores on the stunning left courses along the Southern Ocean.

The round of Duncan included 8 birdies and no bogeys and he now takes a three-headed lead in the third round tomorrow.

Daniel Gill, the Commonwealth, is trying to keep the Queenslander in the next two days, as he is sitting three times back on his forty-seven on Barwon Heads today.

Nathan Page (The National) ended with a 69 in today's round on the beach course to take the overall lead in the boys' section under 16 years of age.

Abel Eduard (Kew) and Harry Adams (Wonthaggi) are close behind, both one-over-par after their two rounds.

Hugo Koch from New Caledonia took the lead in the boys under 14 with rounds of 79 and 75 giving him a triple buffer over Shepparton's Bailey Goodall.

Min-A Yoon makes her trip worthless while she takes an impressive lead halfway.

The 15-year-old Korean shot a beautiful four-under-par 68 on the creek track to lead the general girls and among the 16 girls' sections by three shots.

Yoon, fresh from her victory in the Port Phillip just two weeks ago, will be looking for a place in the 2019 ISPS Handa Victorian Open.

Jeneath Wong (The Metropolitan) is the next best after her amazing round of 69 on the difficult Barwon Heads layout.

In the under 14 girls section, Louise Baliton, Mt Derimut, finished with 87 in today's round to take a 3-shot lead in her section.

Players take their final course tomorrow for the last day at Barwon Heads on Thursday.
