Ladies European Tour: schedule announced for 2021 with record prize money

Emily Kristine Pedersen from Denmark won the inaugural Race to Costa del Sol in November.

The Ladies European Tour will feature 27 events in 2021, with a "record-breaking" prize pool of 19 million Euros (£ 16.7 million).

Nine new fully sanctioned tournaments have been added to the roster, with a prize pool of 6 million euros compared to 2019.

South Africa hosts the first event in May, with Europe hosting most tournaments between June and September.

The Season Finals will be held in Spain again and will decide who wins the Race to Costa del Sol and a bonus of 250,000 euros divided among the top three.

All tournaments canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic will be back on schedule, along with a new team series with events in New York, London, Singapore and Saudi Arabia.
