South African Oosthuizen, 37, the world number 23, Wednesday from the pro am pulled into the Gary Player Country Club due to problems with kidney stones, which required hospital treatment.

"Yesterday I spent some time in the hospital and crawled around my hotel room with kidney stones at 3 o'clock this morning, on my knees next to the toilet, which is no problem on the spot," said Oosthuizen, who was one of are birdies from 18 feet at the sixth cavity.

"Somehow it got much faster than I expected and it was just one of those rounds that I think everything just fell into place."
