Pernilla Lindberg will present two love affairs in the next month.

Lindberg, the delightful Swede who made her big championship breakthrough during the ANA Inspiration in California last year, returns to one of her favorite tournament destinations to compete against ISPS Handa Vic Open of next month

On their way to Australia from their American base, they will also tie up with the long-time caddy Daniel Taylor in a small family-based wedding ceremony in New Zealand.

"I can not wait," Lindberg beamed.

"It will be clear that the wedding is going to be great and I really like Barwon Heads, so it will be a fantastic time.

"I played the last two Vic Opens, nature in the small town really appeals and I fell in love with Barwon Heads the first time Daniel and I went there in 2017. It's such a cool place, a unique setup (for a tournament) and until you get there, can not really appreciate how nice it all is.

"As soon as the opportunity arose to go back, we made sure we could go in. We can not wait."

Lindberg is the first of several great champions that is expected to play on Thirteenth Beach Golf Links in the ISPS Handa Vic Open from 7-10 February with more confirmations expected in the coming days.

In a small corner Lindberg probably has a new caddy with Taylor who in 2019 switched to the bag of world number 1 Ariya Jutanugarn.

But with veteran LPGA Tour runner Roy Clarke who signed with Lindberg, she is convinced to return to the highlights of 2018.

"There are expectations, of myself and others, but at the same time I would not want it in any other way," she said.

"I finally showed people what I can and now I want to do it again.

"There is no better place to do that than anywhere I really like to play as Thirteenth Beach.

"The Beach course is fun, the Creek course has some short and difficult holes, but also some very long holes, so it's a great test."

"It's just a fun place to play and a great atmosphere around the courses and Barwon Heads."

The ISPS Handa Vic Open is a unique simultaneous professional tournament for men and women. It is jointly sanctioned by the ALPG, LPGA, PGA Tour or Australasia and European Tour and has a similar price for men and women.
