BMW Championship: Dustin Johnson & Hideki Matsuyama share the lead

World number one Dustin Johnson shares the lead in the final round of the BMW Championship in Illinois .
The 36-year-old American, who won the Northern Trust event last week with a total of 30 under, fell behind overnight.
He earned a one-under-69 at Olympia Fields to share the lead with Hideki Matsuyama – who also shot 69 – and they are the only players under par.
Joint nighttime leader Rory McIlroy is three strikes back with a sixth share after five bogeys in a 73.
Another former world number one, Jon Rahm, is also two over after five birdies in the joint-best round of the day a 66.
That four-under-lap on the tough North course on the Illinois- Course included a one-time penalty for picking up his ball. I didn't mark it.
"I was thinking about someone else or something – I just picked up the ball without marking it, it's that simple," said Rahm.
"I can't really explain it. It's one of those things that happen – never thought it would happen in my professional career, but here we are."
Former Masters Champion Adam Scott from Australia is part of a group of three, along with Joaquin Niemann from Chile and Canadian Mackenzie Hughes.
Johnson, winner of 22 PGA Tour titles, led 54 holes or co-lead in each of his last three starts.
The top 70 players in the points table participate in this. event, but only the top 30 will qualify for the Tour Championship, which ends next week in East Lake in Atlanta.
Tiger Woods, who needs a top-five finish to advance to next week's final, is 10th left in a draw for 55th after a 72.
