Woods won his 15th major on the Masters last year
Tiger Woods will miss next week's Players Championship in Sawgrass after back problems.

The American has twice won the Players Championship, which is often an unofficial & # 39; fifth major & # 39; is called.
The Masters begins on April 9, where Woods, 44, will hope to defend the title he won for the fifth time in 2019.
Woods, currently ranked 11th in the world, has only played two PGA Tour events in 2020, the other being the Farmers Insurance Open where he finished in ninth place.
The 15-time winner has had four back operations in his career and had a fourth knee operation in August.
The Players Championship, which Woods won in 2001 and 2013, begins on March 12.
"Back just not ready," Woods agent Mark Steinberg told ESPN. "Not with regard to the long term, just not ready."
