The English Mel Reid has won her first LPGA Tour title with a overw inning in two shots at the Shoprite Classic in New Jersey.
R eid, 33, led by one night and shot a four-under-par 67 on Sunday's final round to take the win at Seaview Golf Club at 19-under par.
Jennifer Kupcho finished second at 17 under after a 68, a clear of her fellow countryman Jennifer Song (69).
"It's a huge relief," said Reid, who last month wasted a two-shot lead after three rounds in Portland.
"It's so emotional. I just wanted to redeem myself. I'm proud of how I handled myself," added world number 74.
Reid birdied two of the first three holes, but bogeys on the sixth and seventh holes controlled her momentum. four birdies in five holes from the eighth saw the six-time winner of the Ladies European Tour open a four-shot lead.
