Danish teen Rasmus Hojgaard came through a playoff to win the ISPS Handa UK Championship and his second European Tour victory.

The 19-year-old beat Justin Walters of South Africa by a par on the second extra hole at The Belfry after the pair tied at 14 under par.

Hojgaard birdied the 14th and 16th and made a 10 foot hole for an eagle on the 17th to complete an excellent closure 65.

Martin Kaymer from Germany and Benjamin Hebert from France completed a shot back.

Former world number one Kaymer, whose latest win was the second of his two major titles in the 2014 US Open, held the lead after a third birdie of the day at the 13th.
