Today the Isuzu Queensland Open athletes from Special Olympics Queensland welcomed a clinic with all possibilities, with tour player Ray Beaufils and Golf Australia Development Officer, Scott Simons. In collaboration with the professional players, seven happy participants could participate in group activities, view and learn swing and putting techniques and receive one-on-one coaching.

The session was split in two and the first half saw the group learn about practice and how they can improve while working on the driving range. During the second session, athletes tested their putting skills on the 18th green.

Beaufils advised the group to always have a routine and practice it every time. & # 39; He also added that participants had to change their goals while practicing to keep it interesting and fun & # 39;

Today's clinic was designed to introduce special Olympics Queensland golfers to the world of professional golf and the dedication needed to tour it. Furthermore, it was an opportunity for these athletes to get together, hit some golf balls and learn some new skills from two dedicated PGA professionals.
