Eight aussies ready for Pebble
Brett Drewitt plays his first major championship next week.
Three other Aussies advanced to the US Open today through sectional qualification around the world.
Veteran Marcus Fraser fired rounds from 66-68 at Walton Heath in England to reach his fourth US Open, to be played next week at Pebble Beach in California.
He is accompanied by fellow Victorian Aaron Baddeley, who crowned rounds of 70-67 on two circuits in Columbus, Ohio, to qualify.
And New South Welshman Brett Drewitt makes his big championship debut after surviving a two-man playoff with the Korean Joo Young Lee in Springfield, Ohio, to bump his ticket.
They make eight times the number of Aussies in the second men's moon, with Jason Day, Adam Scott, Marc Leishman, Cam Smith and last week's Texas qualifier, Matt Jones.
