Aussies On Tour: July 8
We would probably breathe the entire Aussies with silverware, even if we didn't really want that.
After a red-letter June for Australian golfers, we have stepped up again last week – read Peter O & # 39; Malley in Switzerland, briefly Wade Ormsby in Ireland, Kevin Yuan in China and David Bransdon in Japan.
But our #AussieOfTheWeek honor, for the third time this year, goes to Ryan Ruffels.
The young Victorian, with the PGA Tour LatinoAmerica on a winter sabbatical, took his third place second, this time during the Mackenzie Tour in Windsor, Canada, where he was agonisingly close to a play-off and a birdie-putt on the last green .
Also think of Sydneysider Jamie Arnold, who passed a double-bogey early in his last lap on the Korn Ferry Tour in New York, but passed his playoff through two shots in a share of six.
Another shout out to Karis Davidson who just keeps going in Japan and finishes T14 again in her second season as a prof.
