Catriona Matthew would again become captain of Europe in the Solheim Cup
Highlights: Europe beat the US with one point to win the Solheim Cup
Catriona Matthew "wouldn't say no" to Europe again after their Solheim Cup victory in Gleneagles.
Europe triumphed in the tournament for the first time since 2013 by winning the last three singles games to seal a victory of 14½ – 13½ over the United States.
"I really enjoyed it, there has been no better time," Matthew said.
"I don't say no, I don't say. You have to be asked and it might depend on what other players want. I wouldn't say no."
Suzann Pettersen, who later announced her retirement, drilled an eight-foot pit on the last to win the trophy.
And Matthew said, "I couldn't believe it.
" With half an hour to go, I thought we were probably going to be 14-14 and the Americans would save.
"The finish, those last 10 minutes was just incredible."
