Hall & # 039; confident & # 039; while she prepares for back-to-back majors

Georgia Hall won the British Open – her first major title – at Royal Lytham last August
British Hall, women's champion Georgia, strives to "keep it simple" as she prepares to play back-to-back majors in just over a week.
Hall 23 starts its Evian Championship campaign in France on Thursday before setting up its British Open title defense in Woburn next week.
She admits that she played in "too many events" the beginning of the year but feels refreshed after a short break.
"It's a good learning curve for me," said the world number 30.
"I made sure I had a good two weeks off to prepare for this three-week process.
"I worked on my swing and also on my chipping, to get a little more consistency.
"I have played a lot of golf and I think that is important, not just hit the beach."
Hall won the Women & # 39; s British Open – her first major title – at Royal Lytham last August, and only became the third home winner since the event became a major championship in 2001.
But she admits that in the last few weeks she had to bring her game back to basics because she wants to rediscover her shape. I only made eight cuts from 13 starting earlier in the year.
"My father helped me clear my head and keep things simple, not to complicate myself, my swing or me as a golfer; just go out and be Georgia," she added.
"The most important thing is that I think it's mental for me to stay calm and enjoy it."
Hall beat the Marathon Classic and Dow Great Lakes Bay on Invitational in the past weeks to refine her preparations for the Evian Championship taking place at Evi, a Resort Golf Club in Evian-les-Bains on the edge of the Alps.
She finished 10th and finished 16th in the last two years at the tournament and feels optimistic for the latest edition.
"I have played here for the past two years and have become 10th and 16th, so I am very happy with how I played and I am convinced that I will participate in this event," she said.
"It is really nice to be close to home, the weather is absolutely perfect and the golf course is in excellent condition.
" I love this golf course and it is pretty awkward, so you must place the ball in the right areas of the greens. I look forward to turning it off on Thursday. "
