Kim takes control of Tour Championship while Hall slips away

Kim Sei-young shot a second round five under 67 to maintain a two-shot lead in the mid-season LPGA Tour Championship.

The South Korean played six birdies and a bogey to go down to 12 and stay in position for a 10th LPGA victory.

Germany Caroline Caroline is second after shooting a six-under 66 to climb the six leaderboard.

The Georgia Hall in England, which had made a strong start in Florida, dropped the order after a one-over 71.

The 2018 British Open winner had a five-under 67 in the first round to sit within two shots of the lead, but is now tied for the ninth, six shots at Kim.

There were better fortunes for Hall & Jodi Ewart Shadoff, who shot a seven-under 65 to move in part of the ninth alongside Hall and ahead of fellow English women Charley Hull and Bronte Law.
