Meghan MacLaren from England wants to increase her chances of making her Solheim Cup debut when she competes at the Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco this week.
Four steep top 10 finishes on the Ladies European Tour (LET) placed the 24-year-old second on the LET Order of Merit, after completing the development of the Access Series tour in 2017.
This week's victory would place her second on the Solheim Cup point list in Europe.
"I will always strive for the top," said MacLaren.
"All I do is be the best I can be. I had that approach in 2017 and it's something I wanted to get back to this year.
" I think Consistency One of the most underestimated things in golf and winning orders of merit is probably the best representation of it. "
The Solheim Cup is being held this year from September 13 to 15 in Gleneagles in Scotland, with the European team being announced on August 12.
And MacLaren from Northamptonshire has banned themselves by winning a second consecutive title in the title Women & New South Wales in March, before finishing second in the Jordan Mixed Open earlier this month.
The Jordan event was the first golf tournament where men and women compete against each other, and the Lalla Meryem Cup will take place at the same time as the Hassan Trophy, a men's European Tour event.
"It's a really nice experience," said MacLaren. that the men and women are in the same environment, it creates a different kind of buzz for the players, because I think there is a lot of mutual respect and also pleasure that we are all connected by creating a life through the et golf game
"There was always a great level of talent at the LET, but I think now the depth is starting to show – there are new winners at almost every event.
"The exposure and profile of the men's competition is a lot higher, so if these two events take place next to each other at the same location, there will hopefully be more interest."
