Paul Casey shares Valspar Championship midway ahead in Florida

Defending champion Paul Casey shot a five-under-par 66 in the second round to take part of the lead midway through the Valspar championship in Florida.

The Englishman moved to six underneath next to the American Austin Cook.

The English Luke Donald finished his career round became third with the Scott Stallings of the United States and Sungjae Im in South Korea, one shot back.

Casey eliminated the Americans Tiger Woods and Patrick Reed to win last year.

The 41- One year old showed part of that shape with a quick start to his round, picking up birdies in three of his first four holes.

He took photos of the five men at his home nine, when he was a ten-foot birdie putt on the first befo r landing of a 27-foot attempt at an eagle at five.

His lonely bogey came on the last ninth after he found sand with his first two shots.

Donald was briefly on-course leader after a birdie four from home moved him to seven under, but he missed a four-foot par putt on the next and dropped another shot at his penultimate hole.

World number one Dustin Johnson is a shot farther back on four under, while the Russell Knox, who shared third place after the first round, dropped out when a five-round round left him one overall rankings.
