] England's Alice Hewson retains the lead in the last day of the three-day final of the Rose Ladies Series, with Charley Hull one shot behind.

Hewson, 22, shot an undersized 70 to finish the day at five under and Hull made 65 – the best round of the day.

Former British Open champion Georgia Hall, who won the previous two Rose Ladies Series events, finished day four off-tempo at The Berkshire.

Liz Young – one of the organizers of the series – also made one.

Young has hosted the series with male pro Justin Rose and his wife Kate.

It was created to provide competitive action to female professionals after the Ladies European Tour was suspended in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The three-day grand final comes after seven one-day tournaments were played in England in June and July.

The last round, for which the top 35 has made a tie, takes place in Wentworth on Friday.
