Sam Torrance: Ryder Cup no longer plays great

Former Ryder Cup captain Sam Torrance has revealed that he is no longer playing golf after "losing love" for the sport.
The 65-year-old Scot achieved 44 professional wins and played for Europe in eight Ryder Cups and also won a victory in 2002.
Torrance recently played on the European Senior Tour.
"I have lost a little love," he told BBC Radio 5 Live. "I'm not very good. The most difficult … I am mediocre compared to what I was."
Torrance, who has worked regularly in the broadcaster, is in tenth place on the European Tour list of most wins with 21.
"I told my manager: & # 39 tell me my scores for the past three years and my final positions & # 39 ;, "he explained. "She looked it up and she told me I was 200 above par and my best finish was 35th.
" So it was time. That was two years ago and I have not played since. It was hard to let go, but I'm glad I did it when I did it.
"Even with my friends, I have a hard time finding the impulse to get there and do it."
