Spotlight: Tour 18 Dallas brings the most famous holes in the US in one round

Looks like we'll be looking at Augusta National not once, but twice in about five months from the fall of 2020 to April 2021. Tempting, amirite? It's exciting to watch The Masters on TV, of course, but the odds of any of us actually playing the course and holes of Amen Corner are far away.

Enter Tour 18 Dallas. It is one of two Tour 18 concepts in Texas (the other being Tour 18 Houston) and features a collection of replicas of the most famous holes in the country, from Augusta National to Pine Valley.

If you are a fan of watching golf on the biggest stages, you will have the chance to conquer some of the most famous holes in the world. The front nine of Tour 18 culminates in a Sawgrass replicated island green par 3, and the back nine wraps up in thrilling fashion with the three holes that make up Augusta & # 39; s “Amen Corner”.

There are other replica holes of private clubs that you may never play, including Pine Valley, Riviera and Oakmont.

If you're a Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex golfer who hasn't played Tour 18 Dallas in a while, the course reopened this fall following a greens project. They are now brand new and roll just as well as the professional golfers experience week after week.

“Greens had improved a lot. Solid course with a fun take on the best of the best, ”wrote a Golf Advisor reviewer in October 2020.

Tour 18 Dallas is located in Flower Mound, just north of Fort Worth and just off I-35 W. Facilities are built to tour quality with a large clubhouse with locker rooms and a bar and restaurant overlooking the green replica of the island of Sawgrass. There is also a full practice facility and driving range.
