The English Georgia Hall recovered from two over four holes to host the sixth event at the Rose win Ladies Series at Bearwood Lakes with one shot.
Hall, who finished second in each of the three previous events, placed four birdies in an undersized 71.
Meghan MacLaren, who won the second event in Moor Park, was one of six players to level par.
Liz Young, whose idea was to set up the event, which is sponsored by Justin Rose shot a one-over 73.
Fellow English Charley Hull was two below par after three holes at the Berkshire Location, level after six and below par after a birdie on the par-five 11th. However, consecutive double bogeys on the 12th and 13th holes ended her challenge as she faded to three over.
Women's European Tour veteran Dame Laura Davies was also in the fight against one under 11, but the 56-year-old had a triple-bogey seven on par-four 13th and then a double bogey on the par-five 16th when she finished five.
Next week's event is at The Shire, London, before the series ends with a three-day 54-hole tournament, with the final round being played in Wentworth.
