Thomas Pieters from Belgium won his first title in three years with a one-off victory over the Czech Masters.

& # 39; Night leader Pieters, 27, played a three-under par 69 in his final round to end on 19 under, with his Spanish playing partner Adri Arnaus on 18 under.

Sam Horsfield from England ended third in 16 in a draw with title defender Italy P Andrea.

"I am relieved," said Pieters. "It has been a long time since I last won."

It is Peter's second victory over the tournament in Prague and his fourth European Tour title.

Pieters, who played in Europe & # 39; s 2016 Ryder Cup 2016 team, last won on the European Tour in 2016 and is 111th in the world.

"It feels good to win again," he added. "I never doubted myself, but it has just been a long way not to feel good with the golf swing. It feels good to get back on track and win a new victory.

"It's hard when everyone says you have to win two or three times a year. It is always nice to hear that, but sometimes it is almost negative because I always felt that I was underperforming, but hopefully there are many more.

"I felt that I was in control almost all day today and actually did my own thing."
