Didone & Kay Win Tasmanian Open Titles
Aiden Didone from Metropolitan Golf Club has come from behind to win the 2019 Men's Tasmanian Open Golf Championship at Ulverstone.
The 21-year-old Victorian shot a final round of five-under-line 67 to draw with the leader of the evening, Hayden Hopewell from Western Australia, who scored three-under.
The pair went on to a playoff with Didone defeating Hopewell on the second hole with a birdie three.
The early leader, Adam Thorpe from the Australian Capital Territory, placed third in the last standings with a one-in-par round of 71 today.
The Longmouth of Launceston Golf Club was the leading Tasmanian in fifth place on two-over-par.

Night leader, Rebecca Kay from Queensland, has kept her good shape to win the 2019 Women's Tasmanian Open Golf Championship at Ulverstone Golf Club.
The 20-year-old Coolangatta and Tweed Heads gofler ended today with a two-sub-par 71 to defeat her closest opponent, Kathryn Norris, with four batters.
Norris, who plays her golf at the Mandurah Country Club in Western Australia, today scored a one-under-72 and generally finished as two-under.
Queenslanders Caitlyn Campbell-Nyman and Isabelle Taylor finished in third place in a row for third place
Local member, Sarah Johnstone, was the leading Tasmanian in eighth place at thirteen-over-par.
