The latest major Australian winner, Hannah Green, organized a MyGolf clinic while at home at Mt Lawley Golf Club.

A small army of MyGolf juniors flooded the greens at Mount Lawley Golf Club this weekend to welcome the newly awarded KPMG ladies PGA champion Hannah Green.

Green became the first West Aussie golfer to win a big championship when she emptied a 5-foot putt on Hazeltine's 18th green a few weeks ago.

After a few weeks of whirlwind and with a bank account that now contains a few added zeros, you would forgive Green if she wanted to spend some time out of the spotlight.

But never to help the next generation of golfers, Hannah spent more than an hour with the Mount Lawley MyGolf children, who can now say that they have released a club with a great champion.

Mount Lawley general manager Troy O & # 39; Hern was nothing but a compliment to the club superstar.

"Hannah came through the MLGC junior program and has always spent a lot of time with her," he said.

"The look on the faces of the juniors when they met a great champion was priceless."

The return home was as much a celebration for golf as it was for Green himself

Mount Lawley has a talent for producing fantastic golfers. The junior programs of the club are first class and the members and staff who lead these initiatives deserve great praise.

The events that unfolded on Hazeltine's 18th green were the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and countless hours of toil on Mount Lawley.

The return of Green was a celebration of that hard work and a time to rejoice over every member of Mount Lawley who helped her achieve her dream.
