PODCAST # 112: Briony Lyle and The Open

Posted by on   /   Posted in golf news

There have been many moving moments around the late Jarrod Lyle on ITR and today we are adding that list with a great and candid conversation with his wife, Briony Lyle. As Jarrod's book approaches, host Andy Maher puts the microphone on co-hosts and co-authors of that book, Mark Hayes and Martin Blake, who share some funny and emotional insights into the inner workings of the book with Briony .

We also put the spotlight on the Open Championship, the huge success it was for not only Shane Lowry, but Northern Ireland and Ireland in a broader sense; this also includes a particularly critical assessment of the slow play by JB Holmes.

There is also a series of great results in the United States, not least the epic final of the time-honored North & South Amateur in Pinehurst, fought between Gabi Ruffels in Melbourne and Doey Choi in Sydney.
