The land of the Min Min lights on the edge of the Simpson Desert will come to life this month as the Outback Queensland Masters has just announced the Queensland act, Busby Marou, to play live in Boulia on July 22, following immediately on the iconic Boulia Camel varieties.
"We are delighted to bring a top Aria Chart act to Boulia as part of the tournament," said Luke Bates, Golf Operations and State Senior Manager – Queensland, Golf Australia.
"The welcome from locals and visitors to the cities we have visited so far, including Roma, Charleville and Longreach, was great. We are so impressed by the genuine hospitality of the people of Outback Queensland. And with the 7 Sopranos performing in Winton and Busby Marou in Boulia, what a way to warm up on the way to the $ 1M hole-in-one in Mount Isa. "

"We are so excited that our annual Camel breeds are immediately followed by the Outback Queensland Masters," said Rebecka Britton, Race Coordinator and Boulia Shire Council deputy mayor. "It is not every day that our city with 300 people welcomes so many visitors. We expect more than 3000 during the weekend and the Masters. It looks like a record year ahead".
"The Boulia Golf Course also prepared for the tournament and with the recent showers I don't think the course ever looked so good."
Amateur and social golfers, first-time swingers, both visitors and spectators will enjoy a number of Australia & # 39; s leading entertainment while dining under the stars as part of the inaugural Outback Queensland Masters evening entertainment program.
As the 2019 Outback Queensland Masters continues during its journey through Outback Queensland, the entertainment from Winton, Boulia to Mount Isa also goes with opera, comedy, bush cleaning, didgeridoo masters, bands and vocalists.
"We have also released a special Outback Entertainment Pass online that is the ticket to enjoy dinner under the stars and live entertainment," said Luke Bates. "Of course, for people who have a player or a spectator, live entertainment and dinner under the stars is already in their way."
