They came together as superstars and Minjee Lee and Su Oh from Australia are simultaneously back in the mix during the BMW Championship of the LPGA Tour in South Korea.
Lee, who led the first round in Busan, dropped the top of the rankings, but is still in fourth place after a second round 70, two under par.
Two early bogeys saw her lose the lead, but she gathered with four little birds generally to eight under par, just two shots of the lead held by the American Danielle Kang.
Oh, who has had an outbreak year, also shot a two-under par 70 to sit on six-under overall, at the edge of the top 10 and exactly in the mix.
Lee and Oh were big rivals in their amateur days, both members of the Karrie Webb team and the Australian team that won a Queen Sirikit Cup before becoming professional.
Hannah Green from Perth is off the pace with two over par through two rounds.
