This is the time to play 9

Golf Australia offers you the chance to win the experience of a lifetime just by playing nine holes!

28 lucky golfers from all over the country get the chance to play as a professional on the Saturday of the Australian Open in 2018, held at the Australian Golf Club from December 5-8 – and you could be one of them.

In addition to playing the nine-hole national final competition on the championship course, winners from every state will travel to Sydney, stay two nights, attend the Champion & # 39; s Cocktail feature and receive a player gift package – all courtesy of Golf Australia .

A male and a female winner of the final will continue to play in the 2020 hole with nine holes at the 149th Open, organized by the R & A at Royal St George & # 39; s, England.

After winning last year's Play 9 event at the Emirates Australian Open in 2018, Jackie Lawson and Allan Lodge are now ready for the trip of a lifetime to Royal Portrush for the 148th Open of July.

"It is fantastic, I am very excited to go to Royal Portrush," said Lodge. "A left course, that will be something else. We don't have it in Darwin, so I'm looking forward to it!"

An ecstatic Lawson shared the same opinion.

"It was a great day," Lawson said. "I think nine holes is a brilliant idea."

You can play in multiple competitions, but you must have an official handicap to be eligible.
