Vale – Malcolm Hall (1930-2019)

Golf Australia wants to acknowledge last Friday's passing by the Secretary of the South Australian Golf Association of 22 years, Malcolm Hall.

Hall served as secretary of the association from 1968 to 1990 and began his involvement with it in 1964 as a club representative representing Blackwood Golf Club.

Hall initially operated from the rental site of the association in the Memorial Drive tennis facility until it bought its own property in Torrensville. It was also during this time that he became executive director.

Hall was a member at Kooyonga Golf Club where he played regularly until his death, at the age of 88. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Lib), sons David and Michael and women, plus six grandchildren.

(Editor's note: in 2008 the South Australian Golf Association merged with Women & # 39; s Golf South Australia to form Golf South Australia.)
